About Me
My name is Andrew Weliver and I am the Head Director of Middle School bands here at RFMS.
I have been involved in music education in the state of Texas for 10 years. I completed my Bachelor and Masters degrees at Texas Wesleyan University and the University of Texas at Arlington. I moved to the coastal bend with my wife and our two dogs in 2021. I have held positions within the Texas Military Department as a musician and am always seeking further opportunities to grow my skill as both a teacher and conductor. I love using music as a pathway to guide young people to better themselves in preparation to enter the real working world around them. Go Pirates!
